At the moment I'm interested in learning more about:

• AngularJS and other frameworks for creating single page apps.
• ReactJS: Facebook created a library that changed web programming.
• Meteor : The biggest leap forward in web programming since Ruby on Rails

Sample Projects

• Working in a small team for 1 year (3 progammers in total) on a new implementation of a question and answer web application in swiss startup located in Zurich. This product is now used at companies like UBS. (PHP5 with Zend Framework, MySQL, Twig, Sphinx)
• Full implementation of the mobile version of the question and answer web application. (jQuery Mobile, PHP, the Application is separate Zend Framework Project)
• 2 years of experience maintaining and extending an important complex legacy application written in PHP in cooperation with the lead programmer of the project. I have learned how to deal with resource shortage and technical debt. We managed to improve and simplify the application by rewriting parts in OOP. The important legacy application is still in use, and will probably stay in use for a long time. It is used to deal with distribution of usage time of expensive scientific machines like particle accelerators at a big Swiss research institute. (PHP5, 10 year old framework, SQL)
• Full Implementation of a time tracking system for a company. (PHP with Slim Framework, Twitter Bootstrap, MySQL)
• Many SelectLine macros. I've gained a lot of experience how to create printouts of information contained in the database
• Creation of a Fault Management System using SelectLine Toolbox
• Creating a hotel website using responsive design. I created a website with the help of a designer, which is fully responsive with three steps for a hotel based in Zurich, Switzerland.
• Website for a Swiss Real estate company. (Everything except Design in Photoshop, Responsive Website with a easy to use CMS that is tailored on the needs of the client, Adaptive images)
